ou should expect to receive by mail or online their tax slips by the end of March

Tax slips will be mailed to you by your employer(s), financial institution(s), charitable institution(s), etc.

Tuition tax slips are found on your educational institution’s online portal

If you want to be sure that you have all your tax slips, you can log into your respective government online accounts.

The total CERB amount you received will be added to your income made during the year.

For example, if you made $30,000 from working income and you received $12,000, your salary will be $42,000

You will receive a T4A tax slip reporting your CERB income in Box 197

Yes, amounts received from the program are considered taxable by the CRA and Revenu Quebec
